In loving memory of Trevor Oxby who sadly passed away on 24th November 2017. He was peaceful at the end, at home surrounded my his Wife Jane and children Daniel, Hannah and her husband Mark.

Trev was an amazing man and loved by many. Especially his family. He left behind his wife Jane and their children Dan and Hannah. He adored his three grandchildren Riley, Charlie and Oscar, and they adored their Popsie.

Trev's funeral is at 10.30am on Wednesday the 20th December at lincoln Crematorium. Trev was a proud biker so we encourage as many of his friends and family to come along on motor bikes if able.

We politely suggest Family flowers only. If anybody would like to leave or give a donation. We will be giving all money to Rays of Sunshine. Which is a children's charity aiming to brighten the lives of children and families living with seriois or life limiting illness's.

Runway (Trev) with Audrey my X & I in Brighton. Trev was an absolute star, a one off! I consider it fortunate to have been able to have called him one of my friends. A decent uncomplicated guy, very popular & up for a laugh. Fun memories! What a guy!

Love this photo of me and Trev. Taken at the beginning of October. What a fantastic time we had at the caravan in Ingomells. We smiled, we laughed and made so many special memories. Will miss our lovely, funny friend forever. xx

I'll never forget the first time I met you both it was at mark and Hannah's engagement party, finding out that we had a tattoo and piercing studio Trev proceeded to tell us about the time he was piercing his own private bits at home and Hannah was knocking on the bathroom door wanting to get ready for school! When I'd finished laughing my sister (now Hannah's mother in law) was laughing so much and was bright red with embarrassment that she'd dropped her glasses in her pudding and custard 😂😂 hopefully see you on the 20th As I told Hannah I might not make the church as I don't land til 7am but I'll pop in for a drink x

Hi Hannah, it's been quite a few years since we were all together, myself, my ex-wife Janine, your mum and dad and you and Daniel.

We spent many a grand day at yours playing with you, and generally having a great time, the odd beer etc in't back garden, oh and of course the dog, I can't quite remember his name, the big soft Rottweiler? Used to run through the house like it was a tiny dog then jump into your lap.... Crazy! Your Dad's sense of humour always got me and there were so many stories to listen to.... Yes a great man, gentle but strong and a good friend, always there when ever.

Life's changes took us all away from each other, as life has a habit of doing and it's very sad that we will all be brought back together for the wrong reasons.

I can't imagine how difficult it is for you all right now, but know this, Trev is an amazing man, friend, dad and grandad. He will be missed by so many, even though many might not have seen him for some time. With true friends, you can be apart for decades but reunions are like you saw them last week.

It's sad to think this will be a parting for a long time but he will never fade from memory, and many of us have many great memories which we will all carry for all time.

Love and blessings to you, Daniel and mum xxx

RIP Trev my friend your light will shine forever. Bright Blessings xxxx

As you asked for memories of Trev this is the one that stands out for Dave and myself.
On our way to your house years ago we came across Trev in the middle of the road outside your house cuttin a new carpet by laying the old one on top of the new carpet to cut around it! No way was he moving for the irate van driver! Creased is up at the time and showed he was a strong character who was admired by all for doing things his way. Condolences to the family xx

  • I remember Trev years ago going to an Elvis Costello concert at the Drill hall wearing a pair of bright yellow pvc trousers that he had made himself . He was a bit punky in those days and very proud of his homemade trousers Always such a character . My heart goes out to you all . Lots love to Jane , Daniel and Hannah . He will be missed by so many . Xx .

  • Ha ha. He told me of those trousers. Still he loved sewing. He was chief stitcher in our house and proudly sewed all the boys badges on for them. X
