In loving memory of dear John who sadly passed away on 15th November 2017. He was the most loving and positive person you could ever meet. He was always on the go; either at bowls, bridge or deciding to climb a tree in the garden just to tackle a few branches much to Linda's horror. He remained rational and positive about everything that life threw in his path; even to the point of believing that when the pet rabbit was lying down in the garden and Linda was worried that the rabbit was poorly and close to death; John insisted it was just having a rest......that was until 24hrs later when it died!!!! Alex's friends' who knew him referred to him as a cool dude who was rather dapper in appearance, especially in his Gant!
He was so brave he never let life or negative people pull him down even when events upset him. In fact, even when he became poorly in the last few weeks of his life he remained brave. He loved Linda to the core and was her best friend and confidante; their relationship was truly special.
He was our rock; our everything and he will leave a massive space in our lives forever.
