Rose Edith Clamp

Sunrise 14th July 1929 - Sunset 23rd October 2014

On 23rd October 2014, Rose passed away after a prolonged illness at home and a short stay in the Royal Derby Hospital.

Wife of the late Francis, dear mother of Michael, grandmother of Stephen, Michelle and Maxine, great-grandmother of Matthew, Deana, Imogen, Saffron, Kellen, Max and Nancy, also an honorary mother to Ann and Iona and honorary Grandmother to Lindsey, Steve, Max, Andy and the late Graham.

Mam
Your painful days are over
Your sleepless nights are through
For heaven has called an angel
An angel as brave as you

God saw you getting weary
And did what He thought best
He put His arms around you
And took you home to rest

A funeral service for Rose is being held at 2.00 pm on Tuesday 11th November 2014, in Boulton St. Mary's Church, Boulton Lane, Alvaston, where she will be laid to rest in the churchyard.

If desired, donations for The British Heart Foundation or Just for Dogs may be given in memory of Rose.

Thank you to all of the nursing staff and consultants who cared for Rose, to family and friends who helped over the years before and after Frank's death four years ago, Dr. Ian Shand and his team for their help, care and consideration of both Frank and Rose.
