Peacefully at home after a long illness courageously borne on October 31st aged 84 years, Ronald (Ron). The dearly loved husband of Joan. The devoted dad of Paula and the late Robert Geoffrey. The much loved father-in-law of Neil. The very proud grandad of John and Matthew. The dear brother-in-law of Gladys and Gordon. A much loved uncle and friend to many. Friends please meet on Monday November 13th for service in Union Street Methodist Church, Hetton at 1:45pm. Interment to follow in Hetton Cemetery. All are welcome afterwards to Hetton Masonic Hall for refreshments. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if so desired to Sunderland Royal Hospital Renal Unit.
