On October 22nd, Marie Vourdas passed away at the Royal Marsden hospital, London after a brave battle with cancer for the past 2 years.
The kindest, most caring and supportive mum, wife, daughter, sister and friend to all who knew her. To the Dancing Queen of Ilkley and Solar Sister, we dearly miss your jokes and the sunshine you brought to our lives.
A thanksgiving service will take place at Christchurch Church (The Grove, Ilkley, LS29 9LW) at 1:30pm on Sunday 12th November, followed by drinks and snacks at Friends Of Ham (8 Wells Rd, Ilkley, LS29 9JD) immediately after the service.
In honour of Marie's friendly and welcoming spirit, we'd like to invite everyone who is able to come. We will be celebrating Marie's life, so please feel free to wear bright colours.
