In loving memory of Sheila Marjorie Quinton who sadly died on 20th October 2017, aged 84 years in her home, after a short illness. Beloved Mother, Mother-in-law and Grandmother to Pat, Steve Andrew, Kelly & Ben. Auntie to Sue, Rob, & Lucy, Fran, Kieren, Jordan & Taylor and Lesley & Nigel and extended family.
Those that knew her and loved her will
remember the fun and laughter she bought to our lives and how her smile could lift your
heart.
Mum had a very 'Big Personality', but you
always knew where you stood with her and that is a testiment to her strength of character.
Over the years, Mum had many friends both in Oswestry and Lincoln, who were very special in her life. She had a great sense of humour and enjoyed having fun and laughter with her family and friends! A special mention to Marie & John, Lynn, Elaine, Monica & Angi, Dawn, Gill & family, Betty & Brian, Graeme, Ellen, Reg, Doris, Carol, Nancy, Mary, George and the 2 Betty's. To Eccleshire Court Age UK day centre special mention to Chris and her staff for bringing joy & togetherness into Mum s life over the past 6 months and all those involved in Mums care at Witham Court. Finally we would like to thank her close Neighboors and friends Margaret, Caroline & Alan, not forgetting their Granddaughters Mollie & Eadie who warmed to her and who enlightened the last few years of her life.
If you are attending the funeral, the family request wearing funeral attire with an item of colour.
After a private family committal , all will be welcome after the funeral for refreshments at Washingborough Hall to share your memories of Sheila and to celebrate her Life.

The family would like to thank The Rev Lorna Brabin-Smith for being there just at the right time when Mum and the family needed them the most. God really does work in mysterious ways!
To all our family & friends for their heartfelt outpourings of support, we thank you all so very much.

Finally our thanks to the Stroke Unit at Lincoln Hospital for their care of mum prior to her discharge home. Special thanks to the Stephanie, Macmillan nurse at the hospital for getting her home to die. The Lincoln South Community Nursing Team especially Vicky & Andrea, who alongside St Barnabas Hospice at Home team and Marie Curie rapid response and the night sitter Kerry, Doctor Repala and Doctor Parkin who all supported Mum in her last 27 hours of life in her own home to have a peaceful and dignified death with her family and friends around. I cannot thank you enough you are all very special.
