A gentleman with a heart of gold. He was my only Uncle and we are grateful that we had some time with him earlier this year when he was in Australia on what was to be his last holiday. He was so proud of his children and their families. I remember visiting the Orr gang on a Saturday Uncle Eddie would be busy in tre kitchen with his tea towel over his shoulder getting tea ready. Always amazed me that he could feed the gang and the four of us who arrived unannounced. RIP Uncle Eddie, you will be very sadly missed. Love to the family you done an amazing job caring for your Dear Dad. In his final weeks. Love from Jackie Brendan and kids.

On a Saturday morning before going to The Young Ones Ali would ask your Dad for a penny, and would get 20p to spend in Norvel the Bakers on our way, when I tried that with my Dad he gave me 1p!! Then after an afternoon of swimming at Dalry pool we would come back and there would always be room at the table for Me/Gaynor, your Dad always managed to stretch dinner to feed whoever turned up!! Loved his cooking but my favourite was his Cherry Pie...best ever!! Will miss you Eddie, the Orr house was like a second home. xx

One if my childhood memories is of a Wednesday night my mum would go abd visit her mum. She would leave Dad in charge. She would be out the door and probably have made it to the square and us kids would be running about the lounge and shouting and screaming and generally making alot if noise. Dad would just sit back and let us run wild. He was a huge big softy. We will miss u Dad ur No 1 daughter xx
