Donald Pearse (7 Mar 1926 - 23 Sep 2017)

Donald Pearse was an excellent Vice Chairman of our charity, and a great friend to all.
He will be sadly missed.

Living in Canada for sixty years I have not seem much of my brother Donald. He was a successful financier. His interests were opera, cricket, fly-fishing and shooting. He was a very keen bridge player. He was happily married to Avril for nearly forty years. He bore his illness bravely. He was educated at Eastbourne College and read History at Trinity College, Oxford after service in the Grenadier Guard's Occupation Army in Germany.
His father Gerald died in 1972 and mother Frances in 1957.
He is survived by me, his sister Mary, Alan and Geoff his nephews, and Jennifer his niece, also five great-nephews, two great-nieces and two great-great-nephews, all in Canada, and a special cousin Carrel Jevons in Devon.
