On 21st September, peacefully at home in Silsden, after a short illness and surrounded by her loving family. Joan aged 77 years. Beloved wife of Grenville, much loved mum and mum in law of Julie and Andy, loving grandma of Harry and Martha.

My lovely lovely mum, I can't believe you're not here. I keep thinking the phone is going to ring and it's going to be you. I just wasn't prepared for loosing you, I miss you so much, I have such alot to tell you every day (like I always did), but I'm sure you're listening up there. Keep smiling like you always have.
