In loving memory of Mariama Tholley (nee Malador) whose Earthly Sun sadly set on Saturday 2nd September 2017.

Mariama was a devoted wife to Gibril Tholley, a very caring mother to her daughter, Khadijah Tholley, and son, Ahmed Tholley.

Mariama was endearing and delightful to be around. Her interactions with everyone she met was with admirable touch of class and left a lasting positive impression.

Born to Muslim parents in Sierra Leone, Mariama found solace in Christianity in adulthood in the United Kingdom. Her unshakable faith was obvious until her very last moments.

Mariama is survived by her loving husband, her beautiful children, her very graceful mother, and her many devoted siblings.

Mariama will be dearly missed by all her friends and family but we are comforted by the knowledge that God loves her most and that she has taken her rightful place in Heavenly Paradise.

The family are very grateful for the widespread support from our many friends in the UK, Sierra Leone and beyond, who have been extremely supportive during this difficult period. Please feel free to share your tributes and memories of Mariama on this website, where you can also share your pictures of Mariama or light a candle for Mariama.

Mariama will be laid to rest on Monday 18th September 2017 with a church service at 10.30am at Walworth Road Methodist Church (54 Camberwell Rd, Camberwell, Greater London SE5 0EN) and burial at Camberwell Old Cemetery (Forest Hill Road, London, SE22 0RU). A reception will be held at JK Banquet Hall (15 Perry Vale, Forest Hill, London SE23 2NE) from 2.30pm.

The family kindly asks well wishers to wear something with a hint of fenteh/sky-blue or gold and white on the day of the funeral to reflect some of her favourite colours.
