In loving memory of David Thomas John Bess, 'Dave' who sadly passed away at home on 3rd September 2017, aged 73 years.
Devoted husband to Jean, loving father to Anthony & Natalie, adored Granddad to Megan, Amy, Hannah & Emily and great friend to many. He left his mark on all that had the pleasure of knowing him. A wonderful man who will truly be missed by all. He lived life to the full, which is to be celebrated!

3 years on... there’s still as big of a hole in my heart as there was the day we said goodbye to you. Your inspiration still guides me every day, I see you in so many things. It could be the smallest thing like, making mash potato that sparks a memory of you. But it doesn’t make me sad to remember you so often, it makes me content. The memories that come to mind at the most random times are the ones that keep you alive. And for leaving such a mark, that I can have so many wonderful things to remember, I’ll be forever grateful. And it’s because of these things, that you will be with us always xxx

Lovely charismatic man who always had a twinkle in his eye. I'd not known Dave for a very long time but he made me feel like we were old friends, and I played my best ever on the 18th at Sittingbourne with him too!
