Peacefully in hospital surrounded by his loving family on August 29th aged 89 years, Joseph (Joe). The devoted husband of Maureen. The father of Mary and much loved dad of Maureen and Joseph. The loving father-in-law of Anil and Pauline. The very proud grandad of Victoria, Adam, Claire, Michelle and Kate and soon to be great grandad. A much loved friend to many. Friends please meet on Wednesday September 13th for service in Union Street Methodist Church, Hetton-Le-Hole at 11:00am. Committal to follow in Durham Crematorium. All are welcome afterwards to Hetton Lyons Cricket Club for refreshments. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if so desired to the MS Society. A collection plate will be provided at the church.
