In loving memory of the late Barbara Harris who sadly passed away on 16th October 2014.

Barbara was a devoted wife to Terry Harris.
A loving mum to Desi, Dale, Linzi, and Janice.
A much loved grandmother to Donna, Ryan, Hannie, Anton and Jordon.
A greatgrand mother to Sophia
A sister to Jeff and the late Roy Taylor.

Barbara was born in 1941 in Hebden Bridge West Yorkshire, she went to school at Calderdale college. One of her first jobs as a young lady, was at Belle View Manchester helping at the dog track.
Over the years she travelled around meeting lots of people and making new friends.

In 1980 she met a wonderful young man Terry Harris, and they married in 1982. Barabra started married life in Whittlesey. She found a little job in the knicker factory Symingtons, then in later years became a Deputy Registrar and receptionist at the Peterborough Registry Office.

Over the years Barbara and Terry travelled to many different countries but Tenerife was Barbara's favourite place. Barbara and Terry have been visting Tenerife for the last 22 years. The last 5 years they decided to make Tenerife a more permeant home. Barbara made many new friends and became very much a local in Los Cristianos.

In 2013 Barbara took ill, and came back to Devon & Cornwall for a while. In late 2013 Barbara and Terry moved back to Whittlesey and carried on with life and social events. In April 2014 she returned to Tenerife and had 4 wonderful, amazing weeks. She returned to Whittlesey, and again had some fantastic days with family and many of her friends. She returned to Tenerife for one more trip in May 2014 for 10 days, she then returned to Whittlesey.

I would like to thank all of her family and friends for the support and comfort you have given over the years.

Judy Wilson donated in memory of Barbara

With fond memories of Barbara and the time we spend working together at the Register Office xx.
