Trevor James Goult (12 Mar 1975 - 1 Aug 2017)

In loving memory of Trevor James Goult who sadly passed away on 1st August 2017

Trevor had fought a tremendous battle of his terrible accident on 8th June 2016 when he received 85% burns to his body. He was never expected to pull through and on several occasions we prepared for the worst. To everyone's astonishment, including the experts at St Andrews Burns Unit he not only came through but worked with all his strength to learn to walk and was home by March 2nd 2017 months earlier than anticipated.
Obviously life was never going to be the same as he was left with life changing injuries and limited mobility, but Trevor was so happy to be home and was able to spend quality time with us his family and friends.
Unfortunately as is common with burns victims he later returned to hospital after complications from an infection and passed away peacefully.
We will be forever grateful for the extra time we got to share with Trevor and we know he wanted to raise money for the burns unit in appreciation.
