In loving memory of Joy Spencer who sadly passed away on 24th July 2017 after battling cancer.
Joy knew she did not want this disease to define her and adopted an attitude of defiance toward it; which if you have ever spent any time with Joy you will know is quite some battle!
She left us as a vital, loving, formidable Wife, Mother, Nana and Friend.

We miss you so much xxx

Where to begin? .... 21 years ago we developed a bond, a friendship, a relationship that I can only describe as unique.

Over the years we have laughed til we cried, supported each other through difficult times and wiped away many a tear.

I can honestly say that I feel so blessed and honoured to have had you in my life. You gave Luke, Sophie and I so much support, love, trust and guided me when I needed it the most.

The day that Sophie was born I could see it in your eyes, the love and warmth that you would bring to her life. In the summer of 2000 you became Sophies Godmother and made the most beautiful christening gown for her special day, something that we shall treasure forever.

There are no words to even begin to explain the emptiness that I feel right now. You have touched the hearts of so many, made an impact in so many people's lives, something that you will always be remembered for.

Joy, you are and always will be loved and forever in our hearts and memories.

Lana

Xx

Will always remember the good times with joy, we laughed so much over the years. It was an honour to have been her freind for 15 years.

Every day of her illnes her strength and positivety shone through even on the challenging and tearful days.

Because of my health issues joy helped me daily to push my boundaries, 'I can't' Turned into 'I can' thankyou joy!

It was a Privilege knowing you, will miss you xx

Already do.
