Pamela Atkins was born on the 31st May 1936, the year of three Kings as she would be constantly reminded by her family and friends. Known to her friends and her family as 'Pam', she would go out of her way by to ensure that everyone was well and good.

Pam met John Atkins whilst working at a Renold Chain in Coventry. On the 23rd June 1956, Pam and John got married and bought their first house together on Dennis Road, Coventry

Pam was very much a family sort of person. Her two children Paul and Jillian had every reason to be proud of their Mother. Pam also had two grandchildren in Ryan and Emma. Pam was a strong animal lover having brought up various pets including cats and dogs.

Pam spent more than 25 years working for a Coventry City Council as a Dinner Lady in various Primary Schools around Coventry. In this role, she made many lifelong friends including some of the children who still remained in contact with her after her retirement.

Pam sadly passed away on the 18th June 2017 and will be sadly missed by all the members of her family and her friends.

Pam's funeral is at Canley Crematorium in Coventry on the 5th July at 13:45. Please feel free to write about your memories of Pam on this page.
