In loving memory of Colin Smith who sadly passed away on 6th June 2017

Dad passed away peacefully at home with the love of his life Sheila and his sons, Carl, Phil (me), Dion and his daughter, Jo, at his bedside.
This was his wish and I'd first like to say a massive thank you to all the help we received from the Phyllis Tuckwell hospice that allowed him, and us, to make this happen. Without the help and dedication of their wonderful nurses, Dad would have possibly passed away alone in a hospital or a home. We are eternally grateful to them. Mum asks that instead of spending money on flowers, that you make a donation instead (link on this page) to the Phylliss Tuckwell organisation so that they may continue to help others like Dad and the many families that also suffer when a loved one passes away.

We would love anyone who's life Dad touched in some way to come to the funeral on the 30th. Dress code is formal but if you can, please wear something bright blue (Chelsea Blue) and/or bright yellow. If you have a bright blue suit, brilliant! But just a tie, hat, scarf etc would also be perfect. As most of you know, Dad was a bit of a cowboy and in his earlier days, a Teddy Boy so if anyone has any blue suede shoes, I'll personally buy them a drink!

All are welcome to come to the wake at Camberley Heath Golf course after the funeral. If you can't make it to the funeral then you are very welcome to come to the wake afterwards.

Unfortunately, I don't do Facebook or social media and I know some out there are still like me so if you need to contact the family, then please call me on my mobile - 07770 355377. I may not be able to take your call immediately but please leave a message and I will call you back.

Thanks for visiting this page and hopefully we'll see you all on the 30th.

Phil
Mum, Carl, Jo & Dion.

My thoughts prayers are with Collins family, Colin was a lovely man he was always happy, smiling & full of life, Colin and I clicked straight away at Pine ridge Breakfast car club meet, I've only know Colin in last 3 years but it felt much longer, Sheila he was a proud husband & loved his children. We had many chats about the big C as I lost my mother to it 19 years ago! Colin faced the big C head on but Christmas he said that's it. I urged him to fight on but he said I'm done with it, Brave Man but I felt his Pain and understood his wishes. fondest memories of Colin is Truck with deafIng train horns which he loved sounding leaving car club & shows with Bones riding shotgun.
R:I:P Colin although I know you're out there watching us

Kind regards
Mike ( 57 T-Bird / 69 Dodge Charger )

My thoughts and condolences are with you especially Sheila. You and Colin created a fantastic family.
Colin's LIFE was a real 'treasure' to everyone and he was a great friend to me. His LIFE should be celebrated and remembered, as he will be by me.
My kind thoughts and wishes are with you all Sheila and Carl, Philip, Joanne and Dion.

So many weeks have been and gone since you went your way. So many hearts left broken, a painful price to pay. The pain is bitter sweet, like true love ought to be. Losing you has changed our lives beyond we cannot see.
We hope you're in a crazy place, stress free and having fun. One day we will all be there - this time please don't be gone
