All you need to know is that Jan, in her private life was the most wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law and in her working life was the most wonderful, caring nurse, mentor and manager of people.
There is of course lots more to her story. I'll tell you about her when we meet again.

You were a huge personality and had a great impact on our teenage lives as Wendy's friends. I remember so fondly the steak dinner you made us all and waited on making us all feel so posh and grown up. Look up my Mum while you are bossing people about up there Jan and tell her I miss her just as Wend will miss you Dawn and family and all the Walters clan xx

We will always have treasured and special memories of our "family" in France. Jan made us laugh so very often both intentionally and unintentionally we loved her dearly. Our hearts go out to you all at this sad time.

We had some fantastic times whilst living in France with our very special Family in France. We are so sorry that we cant be there on wednesday, but we have a prior arrangement that we cant get out of. But we will be thinking of you all.
