Howard was a player for many years and a faithful and loyal servant to Exmouth Cricket Club. He was subsequently honoured with Honorary Membership. Our thoughts are with Maggie and family at this time.

Fond memories of watching Howard keep wicket back in the 60s and 70s. A great innings from a decent man. From Jon Watson

Very sad news. A true gent, a wonderful wicket keeper and an ambassador to our game over many many decades of playing and then umpiring. A sad loss, thoughts to all the family. From James Kavanagh

Fond memories of watching Howard keep wicket during the time he played alongside my late husband John. Aways a safe pair of hands. We also spent many evenings all together socially especially post matches. Howard was a gentleman in every sense of the word. From Lynda Corder
