In loving memory of William McEachran (Billy) who sadly passed away on 10th April 2017.

He kicked cancers butt right to the end and never lost his sense of humour or his cheeky grin and smile

  • I dragged Billy, into all the Remnant Kings shops in Glasgow, for material to make the dress, I am wearing. Guess What, we found the material, in Remnant Kings, in Cumbernauld. You should have seen Billy's face. It was a good picture. A very good night was had by us three.

Do not stand at my grave and weep; I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glint on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle Autumn rain. When you awake in the mornings hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet bird's in circled flight. I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I do not die.

Dad we all miss you loads and we know you were looking forward to going to the caravan in September with me, mum, Peter and Codey. We will make sure you get there as we will take your ashes with us to scatter there at your request.

One day in all your wisdom you decided to do a sh*t in a bucket. However the bucket couldn't take your weight and collapsed. Mum phoned Bryan to come help as I was out and Bryan described it as you upside down and sh*t everywhere. Now we cant look at a bucket in the same way, especially a yellow bucket.

This is some of the messages I have received from friends about dad.

"I served your Dad several times in B&M after leaving B&Q, I don't know if knew I had worked with you or not but what a gentleman"

"One of the most pleasant people I have ever met"

"Sheelagh, from what I saw, he breathed life into what would have been considered dead"

"I loved talking to him on the brief occasions I did, and I can only wish that in the future there will be more positive people like him"

"Even though I only met him on the odd occasion, I even remember the days, not just the brief BNQ sales chat"

"Hi Sheelagh , I just want to say I'm so sorry for your loss. such sad news. Hope your ok you have been so amazing and strong for your dad. He will be so proud"
