  • Ken lived a long and legendary life that we were very privileged to share at many of his Country & Western dances and perpetual cheery charity fund-raising. Who could wish for a better host and friend- who always greeted us warmly at the social clubs and in the high street. I am pleased to see the local ECHO newspaper give such prominent and genuine front page features of his life and his family's celebration of his passing. We will long continue to follow in his bold footsteps and seek to retain the vital culture he has bequeathed to us all.
