Never knew you personally but worked with you on the football field. And was a immense shock to hear your passing. Football is only a game really, but you fulfilled your presence with commitment and care.

Matt
You were incredible beyond belief
Your biggest talent was your ability to make everyone smile and feel better about themselves
We met at football. I watched you, coached you, laughed with you, got angry with you but always with a smile ...... there was always a game to be won next week.
I looked for your checkout at Morrys it was one of the pleasures of shopping there. When you moved to the café it was never the same but you still smiled, still made everyone's life good.
I can't believe you are no longer with us and the world is truly a less sunny place without you
I hope you have finally found peace and are brightening up the world you now call home. There will never be another like you.
Rest in the peace you deserve.
Keep am eye on us all and help me to keep smiling. I will never forget the times we spent and never allow your memory to fade.
Thanks for the good times
Rich :)

Our hearts and love to out to Matt and his dear family. We remember many a weekend supporting the Rossgarth football team. Oliver has many special memories of those years playing alongside Matt. The team always had a better chance when Matt was in the team. Great player, but more than that he will be remembered greatly for his charisma , personality and warmth of character. A lovely lad who is missed by everyone more than words can ever say. May all those treasured memories and the privilege of time spent with Matt give his family and friends strength now and always. Thank you Matt for being you. Xxxxx
