Tony Aylwin was a marvellous English Lecturer at Avery Hill College of Education in Eltham. I was very fortunate and was in his English group for two years. He was a fantastic lecturer who made everything we studied come to life. He also arranged many theatre trips to London for us including a memorable evening at Hoxton Hall to see how old fashioned Music Hall events happened. I remember this very clearly and I am nearly 70! I am very sorry to hear he has died.
