Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on the 22nd February 2017, 84 years old.
A beloved Husband of Hattie, a much loved Father to Robert, Thelma and Stephen. A love Grandad, Great Grandad and a friend to many Bert will be missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held at St Ninian's Church of Scotland, Beanfield Road on Tuesday 14th March at 1pm followed by a committal at the Edgar Newman chapel, Kettering Crematorium. Family flower by request but donations in Bert's memory are being received at the service for Lakeland's Hospice.
The family would like to give thanks for the wonderful care provided by HC Pretty Ward at the KGH, Prime care team, Age UK and the Lakelands team.
