Alice was a wonderful and courageous person always welcomed myself and my brother Noel into the family home whilst living at 22,Midgley Road B in W . I spent many nights with Carol one of my best friend ,today known as sleep overs. Alice would always have a good sunday dinner on the go . Followed by Alice"s treats ,Dandelion and burdock, Cadbury Old Jamaica Chocolate (alawys dark chocolate for Alice) and not forgetting the Pepper Mint Creams? If you was late back for your dinner Alice would always put your dinner on a pan of hot water to keep it hot (No microwave ) that's how thoughtful Alice was. Alice these memories will always stay in my heart, God bless RIP you will be missed in a big way . Much love always.Jill xxx

Alice or Mrs Cutting as I called her. I will never forget the kindness and homely welcome you always offered me when I called for my best friend Paul. I will take with me always the memory of a pantry with plenty of Penguin biscuits and a household full of love.
It was an honour to know you and I will always have warm and tender memories of your kindness and generosity.
Love as always to all.
Noel
