I have known Colin for very many years , worked together in the Pilot Plant in the old days. Colin used to bring in samples to the lab for me to test and we would have a coffee and smoke in the mess room while the tests were underway.........I did some plastering in Jewel St a long time ago. I last saw Colin in the local shop in Barry Rd and we walked toward his home close by where my car was parked. Yes Colin will be greatly missed but was one heck of a super chap.

I have known Colin for very many years as I started working there in 1954. I remember Colin asking me if I knew of any plasterers in the laboratory and I mentioned I could do what he wanted done in Jewel St and he mixed the plaster for me while I was plastering. That was a long time ago. (as my father was a plasterer and taught me a fair bit) We worked on the plant together, and had many laughs and chats in the mess rooms and a cigarette. Yes Colin was one heck of a super colleague. Last time we met was in the local shop in Barry Road last year and walk back together to my car parked near his home.
