Funny, courageous, inspirational, caring and a true friend who looked out for you. Lorna had all of these qualities by the bucketload and more. She has left a gap in our lives and will never be forgotten.

SFU Team Memories

Lorna was a very strong & courageous woman, she battled to the end.
When Lorna came into the office, she was always mischievous; she would be singing & dancing even.
Lorna loved to come out with the team to Dion’s & The Scoop & Xmas parties when she was well enough.
Lorna & Randolph welcomed you into their home, always feeding us with their specialities and sending sweet bread into the office for those that were unable to attend @ that time.
Paullette Hill

A lady who always made you feel welcome, she had a big smile, enjoyed life and loved her hot chocolate.
Dave Fry

Lorna had such a bright and bubbly personality, she would light up the room and make us all laugh with her lively banter. She was also a very helpful and caring person -“One in a Million” who’ll never be forgotten.
RIP
Sheila Rocker

Lorna what can I say about this lovely Lady ??
She was a person who was always lovely to be around, her bubblely nature was a breath of fresh Air.
When she came to the SFU Lorna actually sat next to me and I was one of the many People who had an influence in her early SFU life(with regards to training).
With me being next to her I would occasionally be treated to her Bajan Sweet Bread, the Odd Lunch, and many order Treats.
I will really miss her, and will no longer hear her say “It’s Not Cricket” ”
She is now out of Pain, and may she Rest in Peace.
Rodney Corbin

Lorna, a lovely lady, caring and very brave. Lorna made me feel welcome into the office from day one of meeting her in 2010.
RIP Lorna
Sarah Cameron

Lorna was a special little friend who I shall miss very much . Shes no longer in pain . May she now rest in peace .
Carol Shar

Lorna was one of the most extraordinary and funny women I have ever met. Even when receiving her treatment she used to phone me up and ask me how I was doing after my hernia operation. Imagine that!
Always willing to help with anything you asked of her Ready to give advice always running jokes with everybody. Lorna had a very happy demeanour, and was a very real, open and honest person about life.

Special Lady!

I for one will sadly miss you. Lorna RIP!

Floyd Wright

Lorna a bright light of humour, compassion and kindness that has been taken from us
Trevor & Gabrielle Snowden

My earliest memory of Lorna is in the Kiss Kut Barber shop in Broad Green, Croydon where she was having her hair trimmed into her trademark flat-top stylee. Later I found out that we were both working for BT at Delta Point. In time we ended on the same team and became friends. Lorna is a genuine person full of kindness, warmth, humour and jamaican spirit. We have had some fun times over the years socially and at work and I for one will miss her greatly.
Myself, Dave & Miket T, often met with Lorna for breakfast @ the Norbury café on Saturday morning’s, when she was well enough.
We also had the privileged of attending the movies with Lorna, it was absolutely a hilarious experience, she gave a running commentary of the movie to the annoyance of the audience around us.
Rest in peace Lorna.
Patrick Pratt

She had time for you, and a smile.
Lorna stole my Ribena, but it never ever mattered.
She would bring in a big tin of shortbread when well enough to visit the office.
