We will always remember Dot as a really lovely person and a great friend to us all. She was always a positive, happy person and we enjoyed her company a lot.

Thank you for being my friend and keeping me company at all the dog shows we went to together. We certainly had fun and enjoyed ourselves with the dogs.

I was very sorry to hear your sad news Matt. It sparked off memories of my early days: Don, Vi, Eddy & the long tube journey to Morden. I was surprised to see how much the lad on the right in this site's photo reminded me of Don.
It is a pity that I only got to know Dot after Dons funeral and I was impressed by her full & active life and love of her dogs.
Please forgive me but I think I would be too ambitious to attend the funeral.
Kind thoughts , Dennis

Thanks for letting me have the sad news about poor Dot but I get a strong impression that Dot had a full & happy life. Don was a very lucky bloke spending his life with her. I think I'm right in remembering that people thought she was too young to marry him!
Having lost Sylvia 2 days after Christmas 2013, I can well appreciate the raw feelings you may have now. I probably will not make the funeral and certainly not the reception. On a lighter note, I looked at the photo of you 2 Herbets with your Mum & I thought the one on the right was remarkedly like Don.
