In loving memory of Mychajlo Misiurak who sadly passed away on 3rd January 2017 age 91

A loving husband , father , father in law and grandfather to Stefka , Tania , Olga , Geoff , Mark , Natasha and Lewis.

Mychajlo was born in Ukraine in 1925 , from a large family . He later came to England at the end of WW11 and settled in Lincoln where he later met Stefka , married and had 2 daughters, Tania and Olga .

He had several jobs in his time from being a bus driver to working in the blade shop at Ruston Gas Turbines ( Now Siemens ) . He always had many stories to tell especially about his time on the buses .

Mychajlo was very much a countryside loving person who adored animals mainly horses ( a huge racing fan ) and his little dog Texas who he spent many hours out walking with .

He was well known down the "West End " as a very happy smiley person , always had time to stop for chat and to let people pat his dog .

Over the last few years Mychajlo's health deteriorated and having vascular dementia became a resident at Ridgeway Care Home where once settled he soon became a favourite of all the staff who looked after him .

Sadly on Jan 1st 2017 he was admitted to Lincoln County Hospital with pneumonia and later passed away quietly in his sleep on the evening of Jan 3rd 2017.

Dear Uncle Michael,
I will miss your smiling face and your infectious sense of humor You always made us feel incredibly welcome. You alway put your family first. You never stopped trying to be the family's carer even when you needed help with your own care.
I treasure the times that we spent together and you will always have a very special place on my heart.

Barry Misiurak

A sad goodbye to my father-in-law. A wonderful man who warmly accepted me into his family and was a brilliant grandfather to my children. Always welcoming, always friendly, always apologising even though there was nothing to apologise for!
You will be greatly missed.

What a sad loss to the family, the great thing is he was about when you (finally) and Mark got married and even better when you all went to the care home and had a picture taken in your wedding outfits, always here for you. Lots of love Pete, Candida, Demi and Michael xxx

To the most amazing dad ever . You will remain in my heart forever and a day . The memories we have made together will never be forgotten especially our Sunday mornings out in the countryside together or at Mr Mole's scrapyard pocketing what ever we could even if it didn't fit your cars only to be found years later still in your shed unused lol . Thank you for being such a great dad and teaching me all about life , how to respect others , and how to be a good person just like you always were . You wore your smile proudly at all times . Love you to the moon and back . Love Olga xxxxxx
