In loving memory of Ursula Ansje Brown who sadly passed away on 24th December 2016. Born in Java in 1923, Ursula was beloved mother to Michael, Keith and Alison, Grandmother to Simon, Philip, Oliver and Philippa and Great Grandmother to George, Talullah, Samuel and Isaac.
She was also an Aunty to Loekie, Annette and Harmen .
Known to all as Moo, some as Mummy Brown, some as Muis, but most as Ursula. She was an exceptional artist, and enjoyed, painting, ceramics, tapestry and decoupage. She loved crosswords and Suduko and was known for "the Moo factor" when playing cards and scrabble.
Last year she was approached by Daan Decker an author writing a book about her brother Siegfried Nassuth. She was able to recollect her childhood, growing up in Java and stories of how life was before the war. Sadly she didn't get to read the book, but her memories have contributed to it becoming a best seller in Holland
Ursula's kindness, strength of character, sense of fun and thoughtfulness ensured that everyone who knew her was made to feel special.

A Celebration of her life will be held at Barry Crematorium on 20th January at 2pm and then later at Cottrell Park.
