It was an absolute privilege to know Mike, a physicist, a fine golfer and a true gentleman. We made so many great memories during five golfing trips to Portugal and numerous years of playing together at Whitefields, both on Sunday mornings and in the Avon League. Mike selected my Dad to be his vice captain in 2007 and without that I may never have got involved with the Committee and charity events, the progression from which now sees me running the Avon League.
On behalf of myself, my parents and the entire Avon League community, thanks Mike, we will truly miss you.
