HARKIN GRACE TERESA
Peacefully on the 15th November 2016 Teresa beloved wife of the late Daniel, much loved mum of John, Denis, Neil and Patricia. Fortified by the rites of the holy church R.I.P. Reception and vigil at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Lourdes Avenue, Sunday 20th November at 6.45pm. Funeral mass on Monday 21st November at 10.00am, there after to St Convals Cemetery Barrhead

We were sorry to hear about your mother passing. Some lovely photos of her. I met her few years back at my grandmothers funeral in Falcarragh, Donegal. Condolences From Peter & Colette Harkin and family in Co Monaghan, Ireland.

Thanks Aine, we're still missing her a lot and probably always will. It's a big world and we haven't all met each other due to geographical and generational divides but it's lovely to hear from other parts of the family and to know that we're all interconnected. We tried to involve our Dad's side of the family and Glasgow neighbours originally from Donegal in the funeral too, rather than just her sons, daughter and granddaughter because the Harkin/Sharkey side of the family and her Donegal background were just as much a part of her married life as her McGee ancestry. Thank you so much for your lovely contribution.
