Still numb. Still shell-shocked. Losing you mum has left a huge void. It can't be filled. So happy you are no longer suffering, still missing you so much. Always in my thoughts, you are the best mum a son could have. Love you so much, Steve xxxx

Mum missing you already, opening the back door the first thing i would see was you sitting in your chair and looking up over your glasses to say "alright bri ". The house seems so empty and just not the same without you . The last few years have been so hard for you battling the illness but you never gave in to it trying to get on with everday life . I don't know how you managed sometimes . You have gone through so much in the last few months but still managed a smile for us all . I am so proud to have had you for a mum you have been so brave . As i sit here trying to write this I'm holding back the tears , already so many have been shed with alot more to come . Like you once said to me life is for the living but it will be hard to carry on you have left such a huge hole in our lives . Be with your Dad , Mick and Ray, now you can rest in peace . We will look after Dad . Love always now and forever Brian , Claire . xxxxxx

I am so lucky to have had you as my Nanny, such a kind, caring and loving lady.
I have amazing memories with you and Grandad that I will always cherish and that mean so much to me.
We looked through old photos tonight. In so many of them you can see the love that we all shared, just from the way that we look at each other in them.
I cannot imagine my life without you in it, but I know that you will always be with me.

Love you to bits Nanny.
Sleep well, love Charlie xxxx
