In loving memory of John Barnes who sadly passed away on 20th October 2016
John was a much loved happy man and the biggest wind up merchant. He was at his happiest if he was close to a Steam engine.
Towards the end of his life ,we bought a puppy Golden Retriever Callie who is now one. They totally adored each other.
We also found our dream forever home. John was keen to get the Cottage renovated and decorated all in one go. To say this was stressful was an understatement. I think John knew he didn't have long. John got his wish which was to fall asleep quitely in his beloved Windy Miller Cottage. He told everyone this was the happiest he'd ever been. Most of my heart and soulmate was stolen that day and Callie's too but he is now at peace.
