Grandma, I first met you many years ago when you help out playing darts for the local team, but little did I know then that I would fall I love with your Grand daughter and later marry her.
You were a shinning light and a lovely lady. You quickly made me feel more than welcome to your family and deeply loved and like the rest of your family I loved you deeply.
I'm sorry I didn't come and see you towards the end but I knew that what I would of seen wasn't really you and you was gone a long time before.
You well be deeply missed and Valerie, Clive and Deb gave lovely speeches today and you had a wonderful send off.
We all love you and will miss you always xxx

Many of my fondest childhood memories were in London with my Aunt Doreen. Just now it seems as if a rain cloud has come across the sun. But when it passes, those wonderful memories will return.

Aunt Doreen, you made the world a happier place.

Dear Grandma,

Wherever you now are,
May your hair be black,
Your lipstick brightly coloured,
Your stilettos high,
Your tonic served with gin,
And may the sun always shine.

Love you forever

Dearest Grandma,
I will remember you always for your love of sunshine, your beautifully iced cakes and your stiletto heels. I have fond childhood memories of travelling in the car with you singing, 'Hey round the corner, woo hoo', and playing Rummikub in the living room when we came to visit you in London.
In later life your strength and resolve was an inspiration to me and a reminder to find positivity through challenging times. In my mind I picture you sitting in your garden surrounded by blue hydrangeas looking up towards the summer sky. May you rest in peace, forever loved by us all.
Your granddaughter, Laura xxx
