Always and forever

My great granddad has left many fond memories while I've grown up that will be cherished dearly. Indeed, I can still recall the warmth of his wry wit always being able to conjure a smile, particularly in many a sarcastic half-muttered remark lest granny great hear. From attempting to teach me how to play chess on many patient occasions to all the stories from the travels around the world granddad and granny great embarked on together, I will always treasure the time he lovingly gave entertaining me. I also remember being deeply enthralled by the few times I had the privilege of hearing tales of his adventures in the navy and the rich life he led. Though I sadly only got to know my great granddad in his twilight years, he leaves a profound impression on me, showing me what it means to have a life truly well-lived, full of experiences, laughter and love. You were the kindest, warmest and loving great granddad and will be deeply missed. Your great grandson, Conner xxx

Such a lovely man ..A lot of years were sadly lost but we were so glad to have finally you again and your lovely wife Tet.. The last 15 years have gone too fast.. But it was such a pleasure to have had you in our lives for even that short time.. Finally at peace now dad.. Sleep tight.. Your ever loving son
