I will always remember Pete as the kindest, cheekiest and most warm-hearted man ever. Thanks for looking after me, feeding me, letting me loiter endlessly around the house on uni holidays. Not to mention putting up with the constant chatter from me and Bear. I always appreciated the words of support or advice. You were the dad I wished I'd have had. Rest in peace PJ. Thanks for all the chuckles xxx

I will always remember Pete as the kindest, cheekiest, warm-hearted bloke. Thank you for looking after me, feeding me, letting me loiter endlessly around the house on uni holidays. Not to mention the constant chatter you put up with from me and the Bear. You always had a kind word of support and advice and was definitely the dad I wished I'd have had. I was lucky to have known you. Rest in peace PJ. Thanks for all the chuckles. Xxx

Dear PJ,

Thank you so much for adopting me in to your family and showing me so much love and kindness over many, many years. You have set the bar VERY high on fatherhood and just generally being an amazing human being.
Your wonderful energy and terrible/brilliant Dad jokes will be so missed. You always used to tell me to 'be good' with a glint in your eye. I never was that good but I know you preferred it that way!
Your legacy lives on in your amazing daughters, what women you and Ann raised there... They have always been such wonderful friends to me and I promise to return the honour now at a time when they need it.
Much, much love
Kate Brindley xxxxxxxxxxxx

So sad to hear about the passing of my lovely uncle Peter. He was a kind, warm hearted and incredibly generous man. I have many happy memories of family gatherings where PJ bought the drinks in, and brought the fun xxxxx

Pete, I truly am so sad that you are no longer with us. You were always so kind and generous and always made me and my family feel so welcome. Thank you for all the lifts, takeaways, meals out and family holidays we spent with you and sorry for all the grey hairs me and claire gave you along the way... it was all Claire!!! This picture of you at Claire's wedding totally sums you up and this is how i will remember you, that and your terrible jokes that i never quite understood and your rally car driving to and from 'Dower House'. You will be greatly missed by all that knew you. To quote your parting words whenever i left...."BE GOOD".
Rest in Peace. Love Kate, Brad, Isabelle and Mollie xxx
