In loving memory of Margaret Edith Berbank who sadly passed away on 19th May 2016

Gemma Jones donated £30 in memory of Margaret

I always felt very lucky and very proud that Margaret was my Grandma. She never seemed like the other grannies, there was always so much to like and admire about her. She was kind and welcoming, we were always greeted with big warm hugs and kisses when we arrived and despite there being so many of us grandchildren she took an interest in each of us with our querks and peculiarities! I loved her independence, her kindness, her sense of fun and naughtiness and the fact that she had little regard for conformity. I suspect these were things which everyone loved about her as when looking at her own children, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren I like to think that these qualities have rubbed off on each of us. We were very lucky to have known you Grandma. Love Gem x

Barnaby Berbank-Green donated £30 in memory of Margaret

Margaret, or Grandma as I knew her, was a fantastically wilful, spirited and generous woman. She was always open and honest with me and she told me some great stories, especially ones that other people had told her not to talk about. Those were the best ones. She always seemed cheerful when I saw her and would go out of her way to make you feel at home. I will miss her a lot and will remember her quick wit and the mischievous gleam in her eye. I'll see you soon Grandma. Love, Barnaby
