In loving memory of Terence John Bexley who sadly passed away on 9th April 2016

My thoughts are with Annette and all of Terry's family and loved ones today. Terry stood with me in my early days of ministry both as a friend as well as a congregation member. It was my privilege to jointly officiate at your wedding, and a thank God for every memory of you. In the midst of pain, we thank God that you are now released into the wholeness of eternity - may we all know God's peace and presence at this troubling time.

To lose one great man of God is sad but to lose two so close together is devastating, Terry was such a laugh to be around , and will be missed by so many. The selfless acts he undertook for his friends will never be forgotten, my thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family at this sad time..

Thank you for all you did for me and my family and for all the fun times we had together in Boys Brigade and socially . God bless you Terry

It's not often that I'm taken aback when going into a house. At Terry's it was different, a bus stop hanging on the wall was not a common experience, but it showed his passion for the omnibus.

It's not every Croydon Junior Section that supports battalion events, but when the boys and leaders of the 16th turned up after another long journey by bus or tram, it showed his passion for the Boys Brigade and for letting his lads have a chance to take part.

It's not every leader that will take on the captaincy, but Terry did. It showed his passion for the aim of the Boys' Brigade and in particular for the work of the 16th Croydon.

God bless Terry.
