Dear Carl. What a lovely man. It was a privilege to have known you both as a student at the school where I taught and as a friend later in life. You were full of charisma and fun with a positive outlook on life even when you knew you were seriously ill, determined to make the most of the rest of your life. Rest in peace, you lovely man.

Hey bro, I saw some of the guys last night from karaoke and they said they've managed to set up most of it ready for Yiur big day Thursday but can get the mics working. They said you're the only one that knew how to work the new system. So stop laughing at them trying to figure it out (they know your game ;) and get down here n get it sorted so we can belt a few out for you :)
Won't be the same without you on the stage to sing with me and encouraging me but I will sing a song for you without doubt.
Love you always,
Kerry-Anne xxx

Brother
Who is your Brother I know mine,
Big & strong with blue eyes that shine
He teased me, riled me, made me see red
Hid my teddy when I went to bed
Walked me to school & tested my spelling
Kept my secrets without telling
Let me ride crossbar on his bike
Protected me from monsters & the like
Beat me at monopoly & won all the money
Beat me at cluedo & thought it was funny
Cared for me & comforted me if I cried
Someone I relied on, always on my side
Fought & argued through our teenage time
But I always looked up to the Brother of mine
We'd sing songs from the pop charts, Wizard, Sweet & Slade, tiger feet, blockbuster a riot we made
Who is your Brother, I know mine
I'll love you forever til the end of time
From your heartbroken sis
Linda xxxx
