I was so sad today to hear that you had passed away, I saw your picture on the back of a carnival float and a tear came to my eye, I didn't know you all that well but I had the pleasure of working with you as a nurse on a few occasions and you were an amazing nurse always taking your time to give the patients what they needed no matter what, you have inspired me to become that kind of nurse who puts everyone else first. You knew my mum and your son Nick was born on the same day as my brother I remember talking to you about this and you always asked after my mum and brother. I wanted to write this message to say thank you for inspiring me, and I hope I can be as good a nurse as you were, sleep tight Elaine xxxxxxxx love to all of your family xx

Elaine was a kind, helpful neighbour for 25 years. From our kids playing together, to chatting in later years and putting the world to rights, with her much loved grandson Rylie playing around us. Many a time we popped to Elaine for medical advice and she always had the answer, bless her. A lovely lady , gone too soon. Rest in peace, Elaine and thank you for being a great neighbour. Xxxx
