Dad,
I know you can't answer me back, but I still want to talk to you.
I miss not seeing you every morning, walking in seeing you smile and asking 'Tea darling?'
You always made me feel safe, I can't explain what I mean by that as I'm grown up myself and have a family of my own but just knowing you were there was everything.
I miss you.

I can't believe Peter has gone.
For most of my life I knew him as a kind, funny, happy chap. Always happy to entertain us as children, something that never changed as a grandfather.
He taught me how to fish for eels on the Thames, every time repeating his favourite fishing joke.
"Did you bring a radio Matt?'
"No why?"
"Cause the eels come alive with the sound of music"
I will forever look for him as I pass the White Hart in Waterloo.

I may have lost you too soon but wouldn't change the time we had
My memories of you will always make me smile
Just wish I could go back some time and sit with you a while
I wouldn't need to speak at all but just look into your eyes
Like the look of love you gave me just hours before you died
I want to know you're happy and well again where you are
So every night I will blow a kiss and send it to a star
You're such a special person dad and the loss felt will be rife
