In loving memory of Sandra Mary Charlton who sadly passed away on 7th March 2016
My mum was born on 26th December 1944 to Alice and John Collins and from the moment she was born she grew up to be a selfless individual always thinking of others before herself.
She had a lovely older brother called Brian who she adored all her life.
She married my wonderful father in 1965 and they then went on to only have me in August 1969 and my dad tells me she adored me. I had a great childhood and she did everything she could to bring me up with everything even amounting to still putting toothpaste on my toothbrush in the mornings before school until I was at least 15 years of age. When I left home at 21 she was devastated but she just let me get on with it even though I was an only child and she was left lonely without me. She was a great character and everybody that came in contact with her fell in love with her just like my dad did all those years ago. My heart is broken and will never be repaired but I will take comfort in the fact that she died knowing everybody loved her and she is now resting in peace and no pain with her mum, dad and all other loved ones we have lost. xxxxxxxxx Night Night Mum until we meet again I love you xxxx Sarah

Remembering days gone by with that cheeky look and grin. Albie on the side of the pool making us work hard and you and my dad looking down after sharing one of your private jokes the pair of you. Our outings with the club down to Littlehampton and you normally getting stuck watching me. All of these things I will remember for as long as I can. You will always be a complete diamond in my eyes Sandra as you were in my dads and his family x sending lots of love and hugs to you, my wonderful coach Alby and my long time friend Sarah and family xx Sleep tight xx

Sincerest condolences to you and your lovely Dad, Sarah.
Mummy was a lovely lady who was always up for a laugh when she came round the square for a cuppa. I will forever remember her smile as it was infectious. She always made time for us individually listening to all our ailments and woes and laughing along with us all, those times I will cherish.
It was an absolute pleasure to have been part of them times.
God bless you Sandra you will be sorely missed by your beautiful family and friends. Rest in perfect peace xxxxxx

Alby, Sarah, Dave, Brooke & Brogan, Sandra was a lovely Lady, Mum and Nanny. She will be solely missed. Me and Brenda remember her at many a Party up dancing and singing, especially to the song "The black eyed boys". I would always give Alby a call around 7pm and I used to say are you having your dinner, she would say no and I would say I will ring when you are. Another one or her sayings was "is it hot in here or is it me" I would answer no but the meat is fatty. I will finish with another saying Sandra, "now what are we all going to do"? Until we all meet again all our love Barry & Brenda xx

My darling wife my one true love has been taken. My heart is broken my world changed for ever. She was my shelter in a storm, my sun by day and my moon by night. We shared 58 years together as sweethearts and in marriage. We were blessed with an amazing daughter and 2 amazing granddaughters whom she loved deeply. We had bad times and good and got through them together until this. Sleep well my darling I will love you for ever.

My nan was an amazingly strong and funny woman! None of our lives will ever be the same but God has truly gained an angel and it's proof that he only takes the best. I have to be strong for my hero, my amazing mum Sarah but we will get through it together - "Solid as a rock" as nanny used to love xxxxxxx
