In loving memory of the late Kathleen Nimmo, aged 80, who sadly passed away at home on 2nd June 2014 , Kathleen was born in Ilkley in Yorkshire. She leaves behind her sons, Robert, Andrew and Malcolm and loving Daughter in law Kristina, her Grand Daughter Charlotte and Husband Peter. We would be delighted to have any messages from our family and friends or even light a candle for her.

Kathleen would have been Great Gandmother in the next few days something she would have really have been so happy about. We keep my daughter Charlotte and son in law Peter in our prayers over the next few days and hope our sadness has been lifted into joy with a new baby. Kathleen was a strong believer in Jesus Christ as her personal saviour and we know she will be with our loving Dad Ramsay who she missed so greatly.

Andrew, for Robert, Malcolm, Kristina and Charlotte

Kathleen was a lovely, lovely lady, quiet and peaceful but always had a tale to tell. She used to tell me when Robert wasn't around how much she loved him being her carer and how much she appreciated him giving up his job for her. Rest in peace Kathleen, united once again with Ramsay.

I was sorry to have news of Kathleen, I met her when she was a young pretty dancer, I met her when you were an extra in the Royal Opera's visit, she was so lovely, she wore an Chinese style dress.....it had been years since I saw her, she was very proud of you, as was here lovely Mother....who by the way made the most lovely costumes. Your Mum, was modest, kind, the last time I saw her your farther had died. Take a time to think of all the wonderful memories she created and she is dancing away in the clouds. My thoughts go out to you and your brothers. I have good memories of her, you.

I am glad that I met your mum, Robert, albeit only once. She had the same cheeky glint in her eyes as you have. I am sure that the care you unrelentingly gave over the last few years made her happy that she was able to stay at home, a place she had found many years of happiness. My heart goes out to you, my special friend, and I hope that you can find some comfort knowing that your mum is sleeping peacefully now.

Dear Andrew and family . I remember your mum coming to see you with your Dad when you sang at the Lycuem, they were so proud of you....thinking of you knowing you are going through treatment and your operation you must be very low in spirit. But I am sure she will be resting in peace she was a very nice, kind and charming lady. Take peace in your faith, and to your Brothers we hope you will rejoice in her life

Our thoughts are with you robert at the very sad passing of your beloved mum, kathleen. You are admired by many for putting your life on hold while devoting yourself to solely caring for your mum over many years resulting in her being happy and content in her own home. A mum could not wish for a kinder, loving and loyal son. God bless
