On 19th February 2016, at suddenly but peacefully at his home in Birstall, aged 71 years, Michael, beloved husband of Gillian, a very dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle.
Funeral service will be held at St Patricks RC Church, Birstall on Friday 4th March 2016 at 12:15pm followed by a private committal at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium.
Friends please accept this intimation and meet at the church. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Michael may be placed in the collection box provided by George Brooke Ltd., Funeral Directors for the benefit of Guide Dogs For The Blind.
I am deeply saddened by the death of Michael. We were childhood friends and I cherish happy memories of the times we spent together. I send sincere condolences to Gillian and shall be thinking of you at the appropriate time today as I am unable to get to the UK for the funeral. May he rest in peace.
