Nan
Those special memories of you will always bring a smile
If only we could have you back for just a little while
Then we could sit and talk again just like we used to do
You always meant so very much and always will do too
The fact that you're no longer here will always cause us pain
But you're forever in our heart until we meet again
You loved to spend some money buying little bits and bats
You loved you're little dog daisy but you were never keen on cats
We walk around the seaside most often it was Filey
Don't think we ever got on a bus and trumped all the way to Biley
You enjoyed to eat the sweetest food cream cakes were your fav
We didn't need an occasion and there was nothing left to save
You'd sit us up apon your knee and start to sing a song
We didn't alway know the words but we'd try to sing along
When you started to leave us we sat right by your side
We held your hand and talked to you and even sat and cried
We know your in a better place where other loved ones are
Your in the sky looking down you are the brightest star
So when we're sad and thinking about how we miss you so
Your love and memories we'll always have and we know you had to go.
❤️
