On 20th October 2026, at his home in Thornhill aged 69 years, Gordie, loved husband of the late Julie, much loved dad of Emma and Craig, dear father in law and friend of Leigh, Jamie and the late Sheena, dearly loved grandad of Corey, Bailey, Kian, Shelby, LillyLeigh, and Cole proud great grandad of Penelope and Isla, a dear brother, brother in law, uncle and friend to many.
Funeral service will be held at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Friday 20th November 2026 at 12.30pm. Friends and family please gather at the crematorium. If possible please wear black traditional funeral attire in Gordie’s memory. No flowers by request, donations in his memory may be placed in the collection box provided or made online to help purchase a defibrillator for his great granddaughters.
