A Celebration of Kevin Raymond Rose "Honest Kev" who sadly passed away peacefully at home on 20th September 2026.
Kevins church service will be held on Tuesday 6th October, at St John the Baptist Church, in East Markham, NG22 0SA. Promptly starting at 13:30. All attendants need to be in church no later than 13:15 please. After the service Kevin will be laid to rest in the grounds of St John the Baptist Church.
The celebrations will be held afterwards at The Ye Olde Bell Hotel & Spa, Barnby Moor, Retford, DN22 8QS. For anyone wishing to stay at The Ye Olde Bell, when booking please reference Kevin Rose, as a discount will be applied for any rooms and breakfast booked.
The dress code is Bright, Bold & Beautiful.
There is to be no flowers please, as Lisa and Toni, would like donations to be made to Beaumond House in Kevin’s Name.
In the final weeks of Kevin’s life, the team from Beaumond House cared, helped, supported and advised not only Kevin, but Lisa and Toni. The team were friendly, trust worthy, professional, reliable, respectful and extremely knowledgeable.
Beaumond House, is a charity organisation, based in Newark, however, has a base for the team in Retford hospice. At present Beaumond House, runs with a small Team of 6 Carers. Which unfortunately means, their full capacity is only 4 end of life patients at any time. With more donations, Beaumond House would be able to increase the team size, which would enable the team to cater for more end of life patients.
Nobody ever expects to be in the position of needing help, however, when faced with a tragic situation, every bit of medical and professional assistance is required and necessary for everyone involved to make any situation significantly bearable.
On the service book there will be a QR code for anyone helping us to donate throughout Kevin’s Celebration day.
However after the celebration, Toni has a QR code linked to Beaumond House fund raising, with Kevin’s name linked for any donations made by any companies or persons in the future.

So shocked and sad to hear of the passing of Kevin one of life’s big characters a very good friend of me and my dad he was a proper man’s man and a gentleman so sorry for your loss gone but definitely won’t be forgotten unfortunately I won’t be able to attend the funeral but I’ll raise a glass 🍻for big Kev cheers Philip

Dear Lisa and Toni I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Kev.
So sad for you all and hoping you can find some comfort from knowing your friends and family are thinking of you at this time.
I am sorry I won't be able to come to the funeral as attending my daughter in laws fathers funeral in Mexborough at the same time.
