In loving memory of Claire Simmons-Swinney, who sadly passed away on 10th September 2026.

Claire will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She touched the hearts of so many, and at only 52 years old, she was taken from us far too young, leaving behind many broken hearts.

Please join us in remembering the fantastic times Claire shared with us.We invite you to share your stories at the funeral and picture those moments when you laughed together.

If you are able, please wear a touch of pink on the day to support Cancer Research, a cause Claire passionately supported throughout her six-year battle.

Claire was married for 20 years and was a fantastic mother to three wonderful children who hold great memories of her. She was also a deeply loved wife, daughter, and sister. Her mother and sister will miss her with all their hearts, and they take comfort in hoping Claire has now been reunited with her father, who sadly left us eight years ago.

My beautiful big sister how is it 1 month since you passed from this world into the next and how is it possible that it's been a week since we said our last goodbyes to you, your day was so stunningly amazing to witness so much love for you was as as if something out of this world was present, like angels where protecting us all in the folds of their wings, I am starting to be able to see a way forward again and have some sort of stricture to my days, it just feels like you have left the room for a short while at the moment and that I'll see you again at some point, it's not really set in yet that your physical bodies is no longer here, I hope you are having fun and laughter in the clouds, thankyou for the beautiful pink clouds and sunset last week 24 hrs after your day had ended, thankyou for keeping your energies near so it doesn't feel so hard without you Bere and thankyou for making thos feel peaceful and easy at this moment in time, I love you from your little sister xXx
