With the greatest sadness we share the passing our Beloved Kevin, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday 19th August aged 87. He was a much loved Husband, Dad, Grandad, Brother, Uncle and friend. He was at the very heart of our family and will be missed more than words can ever say.
Dad lived a long, healthy and very happy life, surrounded by a family who adored him.
We will remember his warmth, his larger than life character, his stories and his laughter, and most of all the love he gave so generously to all of us.
We feel incredibly lucky to have had him in our lives for so many years and to have so many wonderful memories to hold onto.
His funeral will be a celebration of his life and an opportunity for those who knew and loved him to come together, remember him and say goodbye.

Grandad
Where do I start? I could not be prouder to call myself your grandson. You’ve been there for me by my side my whole life. It’s going to be so hard trying to figure out life without you, but I know that you’ll never really be gone. I see you in everything that I do and know you’re always right there.
I couldn’t have asked for a better friend than you. It felt like you had lived 100 lives and knew everything there was to know. I could sit and listen to your stories all day - I’ll never forget a single one. Thank you for granting me this life and for being one of the kindest people I know. You’ve shown me what it means to be a truly good, honourable person and I’ll try and do my best to live up to the standard you set - it won’t be easy I tell you that!
Grandad, no amount of words will ever be enough for the man that you were - so I’ll save the rest for the next time I see you. Promise I’ll do you proud Grandad. I’ll cherish every moment we spent for the rest of my life. Mum’s saying I’m looking more like you every day, how lucky am I. I can’t wait to have another cuppa one day.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said
A beam of light when you walked in the room caused instant smiles, happiness and most importantly laughter.
You were The glue that held the Geoghegans together.
To call you family was nothing short of a privilege.
The chats and the belly laughs Ive had with you I’ll always remember.
You truly were one of the best and as a family we couldn’t of loved you any more.
Lights like yours never go out because they were always so bright in the first place.
We will all miss you very much

To my wonderful uncle Kevin, we will miss you so very much. You were a force of nature, whose storytelling and laughter lit up every room. You brought so much joy to our lives and as soon as I saw you I started smiling. All my love, andrea.💔💔💔
